Nexus Paranormal Proximity Sensor for Ghost Hunting

The Nexus is a paranormal proximity sensor designed for ghost hunting investigations where detecting unexplained movement without physical contact is critical.
Nexus Proximity Sensor – Environmental Interaction Indicator
The Nexus Proximity Sensor is an environmental‑monitoring device designed for novelty research, hobbyist experimentation, and entertainment‑based investigations. It provides clear visual LED indicators when motion or audio changes occur in the surrounding area, allowing investigators to observe environmental interaction during sessions.
How the Nexus Works
Select either Motion Sensor Mode or Microphone Mode, then press the power button to activate the device. After powering on, place the Nexus in your chosen testing area. Two purple lights will flash alternately while the device calibrates to the ambient environment. When the lights shift to alternating blue and purple, the Nexus is actively monitoring.
During investigative or experimental sessions, users often watch the LED indicators for environmental responses.
- The left LED glows green when activity is detected on that side.
- The right LED glows red when activity is detected on the opposite side.
After a trigger event, wait for the blue/purple alternating lights to return before beginning a new observation cycle.
Operating Modes
Mode 1 – PIR Motion Sensors
This mode uses two passive infrared sensors positioned at an upward angle within a triangular housing, optimized for floor placement. The sensors detect movement up to approximately 8 feet away across a 180‑degree field.
- Green LED (left): Activates when the left PIR sensor detects motion
- Red LED (right): Activates when the right PIR sensor detects motion
Maintain a safe distance during operation to avoid accidental triggers.
Mode 2 – Microphone Mode
This mode uses dual directional microphones designed to pick up localized ambient sound and environmental audio fluctuations.
- Left microphone → Green LED
- Right microphone → Red LED
This mode is commonly used by investigators during sessions to observe changes in sound levels or environmental interaction.
Many investigators incorporate devices like the Nexus into sessions to observe environmental changes and interactive responses.
